Do I need WiFi in my lock or just the bridge?
WiFi-enabled locks like the VE200 and VE300 connect directly to your network, enabling remote access and real-time alerts without additional hardware. The VE100 uses Bluetooth and requires the VEISE Connect bridge for remote features.
Will these locks fit my door?
All VEISE locks fit standard US door thicknesses. The VE100 covers 1-3/8" to 1-3/4", the VE200 extends to 2", and the VE300 accommodates up to 2-1/4" for solid-core and commercial-style entry doors.
How long does the battery last?
Battery life varies by model and usage. The VE100 averages 6 months, while the VE200 and VE300 last up to 12 months on a set of four AA batteries. All models send low-battery alerts to your app.
Can I install this myself?
Yes. Every VEISE lock is designed for DIY installation with a standard screwdriver. The retrofit design replaces your existing deadbolt in about 15 minutes—no drilling or wiring required.
What happens when the battery dies?
A physical key override is included with every model. Additionally, the VE200 and VE300 feature an emergency USB-C power port on the exterior to temporarily power the lock and restore keypad or fingerprint access.
